Stan can't help but laugh when Dipper's father calls to warn him Dipper was at that age when he would need The Talk. After all, Stan already gave Dipper that talk last summer, there's no way Dipper wouldn't remember that! Except...he doesn't. In fact, Dipper is positive that talk never happened. They come to the obvious conclusion: Stan's mind is making up memories. They then come to the obvious solution: Panic.

It took about twenty cups of coffee and three weeks of Bill’s tender mercies (read: constant threats and torture), but Ford had a solution.

The solution was only technically suicide.

    Summary

Humans are awful. Any fairy, every fairy, knows this. You included. Countless times you’ve seen your fellow fairies captured by humans of all sizes, but mainly their little gremlins who net and jar fairies only to let them starve to death or released with missing wings, crushed limbs, or near death. Adult humans are worse, if they know what they captured, they’ll try everything in their power to gather fairy dust or experiment to death. Only the most stealthy, reclusive, and cautious of fairies live a good and long life. And above all, smart fairies know to never give in to curiosity. Many creatures of the forest wouldn’t mind a fairy for a snack, but humans are the worst of them all, the most cruel, indecent, and bloodthirsty. And yet, their thoughts and abilities align so closely with fairies that many find themselves in fearful awe of what humans do and accomplish. Admittedly, you’re one of those fairies.

The last thing Ford expected or wanted was to be body-swapped with Stan and forced to put on a show but here he was. Doing just that. It should be easy, right?

    Summary

One evening, Grunkle Stan decides to clear out his attic full of junk, leaving the old body-swapping carpet laid out in the hallway. Soon, a distraught Mabel, having just been informed of her brother's decision to become Ford's apprentice, runs away with her brother hot on her heels.

The next thing Dipper knows, he's in his sister's body, having felt some weird compelling urge to continue what she was doing and run off into the woods. And it doesn't stop there. Spending a little more time in her shoes, he's forced to acknowledge why she was mad at him in the worst way; and then he's forced to acknowledge how 'freaky-close' they are, if they can swap bodies and not even care that much.

Written for the Dipril prompt 'Family'.

    Summary

Eventually, and he cannot say precisely when, he falls into a fitful sleep at his worktable, head plastered to the parchment, and dreams of seashores and backyard taunts, smirks on bullies’ faces…

When he wakes, hours later, he’s clenching his hands pale.

Tinkering. He’ll build something. Anything. Take his mind off of…bring clarity, yes.

    But what to build?

His eyes scan the room, and eventually they settle on the carpet. It’s hideous—a shag area rug, and bright blue, with astonishingly clashing yellow accents.

(How many times, for how much of his childhood, had he wished…he was odd, and Stanley…if they could just switch…It wasn’t as though Ford’s fingers were the only thing that made him strange, and Stanley was…Stanley would be able to bear…)

Ford's relationship with Experiment 78 grows and changes, over the years.

    Summary

Warning: The story is published as a fully colored fan-comic, not as a written fanfic. Images will fit the phone format without issue.
July 12, 2012. Dipper faces a Bill-possessed Mabel on top of the Electron Carpet. As a result, Bill finds himself stuck in Dipper's body, while Dipper is now a dream demon stuck in the Nightmare Realm. Hilarity, madness, reality all ensue.
At first glance, this appears to be a Permabipper-AU or somewhat-Transcendence-AU inspired story, but little details here and there will show you that something deeper is going on; or rather, was going on at a certain point; before the comic even started. As the story goes forward, the reader is invited to both enjoy the story, and look for the little puzzle pieces that are scattered in plain sight so they can reconstruct what really happened. One hint: only one main event had changed in this comic's past, compared to the canon cartoon's. Call it butterfly's effect if you like, but either way... consequences piled up afterwards.
Sadly, this story is discontinued; a summary of what was left of the plot is available.
