What if? for s04e05 Divide and Conquer.
What if Daniel had been stuck behind the forcefield and Jack wasn't able to leave him there. Basically Divide and Conquer but with Jack/Daniel.

Summary
Between silent force shield eye confessions and awkward Za'tarc detector admissions, Colonel Jack O'Neill and Major Samantha Carter have a tough enough time negotiating their work time, but all bets are off when the potential for a wedding date meet up arises.
Using the broadcast dates as a guideline for events and set between "Upgrades" and "Window of Opportunity," the season four sweet spot. And of course, mashing up my fave show with some songs from one of my fave bands.

Summary
I read it somewhere, someone wrote that before the test in Divide and conquer they must have talked about their feelings because Jack said “Ah, that.” So this is my take on how it might have happened.

Summary
It's always bothered me that the Tok'ra never think to test Martouf. So here we are spending some time in Jack's head during Divide & Conquer as he unpacks his emotional state.
I'm not super at writing angst, but as a grumpy person I did my best to add some of that.
T rating for swears, as usual.

Sam is never the same again after her blending with Jolinar. Exactly how did she change, and how did she learn to live with what was done to her?
Introspection, some angst at first, but a positive ending:) It'll inevitably contain Sam/Jack, because I can't help it.
Mini trigger warning for memories of non-con situations, a tiny mention of suicidal thoughts, and a little alcohol/gambling abuse. -

Summary
“Even they can’t say everything they need to say just by looking into each other’s eyes.”
Jack and Sam have a series of conversations between her rescue from Orilla and his decision to accept the promotion... because they are both as bound to duty as they are to each other.
From Chapter 13:
This might be the hardest thing he’s ever had to say to her. “We let each other go. Now. We accept that there’ll always be some reason we can’t act on this thing between us, and we move on. No waiting for each other.” He fixes her gaze. “We let this… go.” He really sounds like he means it. He’s even making it sound like it’d be possible. “Or… instead of waiting until we win the war, we-” He stumbles over how exactly to put this second option delicately, and without losing his cool. “We do this – this thing between us – now.” His insides flip saying it; hers do too, hearing it. “We keep it secret, from everyone. We risk it all and explore… this. Now.”
