There was something else too; the sight of his plump lower lip brought back a memory that was stashed away in the very back of her mind. Each chapter was written so they can be read as a standalone or read together to tell an entire story. This story was originally written in 2014 and completed in 2020.
This follows MSR beginning with "The End" in season five all the way until post season 11. It is canon compliant. The continuity in the storylines always bothered me, MSR deserved more than to become an x-file. This is a result of that nagging and a labor of love.
This story is part of a larger series (titled Rooted in Friendship) that begins pre-season 1 and covers every episode of the X-Files up to Season 11 and then beyond into its own universe.
