It would be easy just to go to Weekend Garage and get pancakes there, and he knows Akito wouldn’t complain… but still, after all of the trouble he put him through, it doesn’t feel like it’s enough. They do that pretty much everyday.
How can he repay him in a way deserving of his effort? And on top of that, how can he repay Shiraishi?
She would most likely be happy with pretty much anything, but that in and of itself is the problem. She may not even want anything since she seemed happy just to participate, so a gift may feel superfluous.
Touya sighs to himself, looking out towards the night sky. What can he do to show his gratitude?
The wedding show has come and gone, and Touya wants to find a way to properly give his thanks.

Rui had been surprised when Tsukasa had told him he didn’t know how to braid hair. He viscerally remembers wondering if he’d heard wrong because it did not feel plausible that his boyfriend had made it 17 years with a sister like Saki without ever being taught.
Perhaps his surprise from that time had incentivised Tsukasa, because only a little while later and he was excitedly bursting through the doors of Rui’s classroom one lunch break, eyes sparkling as he explained that he’d finally had his younger sister teach him and insisting that he wanted to try practicing on Rui.
And, well, who was Rui to say no to that?
In which Tsukasa braids Rui’s hair, and a strange moment of self-reflection ensues.
