Summary
When Sarah Williams writes a book about her Labyrinth adventure, it becomes a headache for the Goblin King, who has to deal with random mortals wishing themselves to him all day long.
Then portals spring up all over the kingdom, letting humans turn up and take a stroll through his dangerous fortress, as if on holiday, the Labyrinth and its denizens apparently allowing this. Sock Demons have infested the Bog, and a Tower of Lost Remotes has sprung up in the Junk City, with the goblins peddling ale and fripperies to the unwanted tourists from the Above.
It's when Jareth finds Hoggle leading tours through the maze that he finally snaps.
He goes to Sarah, who is sarcastically unapologetic, drags her back to the Labyrinth, and charges her with fixing what he insists she broke, while he goes off and suns himself on the beaches of the Helion, free booze and relaxion for a very stressed out Goblin King.
Three months later he returns, eager to talk to his Regent, looking forward to being home. But instead of appearing in his throne room, he finds himself standing on the hill outside the Wisher Gate.
A huge sign above it infuriates him:

For the last ten years, Sarah Williams has been coming to terms with the fact that her Labyrinth run was nothing but a fantasy. A dream in which she saved her brother from the treacherous King of Goblins, who bore a remarkable resemblance to Jeremy Taylor, the famous Broadway actor, producer and director, who was also her mother's co-star, and boyfriend, once upon a time.
Now a big star in her own right, a nostalgic Sarah asks her mother if she'd had any recent contact with her old beau. But, Linda has no idea who Jeremy Taylor even is. And to Sarah's horror, every photograph, every press clipping and every image of the man has somehow been erased and replaced, mostly by people she does not even know.
Sarah races back to her childhood home, to find the scrapbook she had lovingly kept photos of her mother and Jeremy in during her teens. And, sure enough, he'd vanished. Only one photograph remains as she remembers, the one she placed in the drawer of her vanity.
There he was, in black and white. Real.

This is a collection of short stories set in the Labyrinthian universe, my main fanfiction set after the events of Labyrinth.
They can be read as stand alone tales, or as part of the main story, and will provide nuggets of backstory and context for the events and history of the Labyrinthian for anyone reading it.
Each chapter is a self contained story, mostly based on a popular fairy tale or nursery rhyme, some even poetry or ancient myth, and meant to be the real history that inspired the tale, usually told to the Wished Away by either Jareth or his cousin over time, generally having then filtered down through folklore to popular memory or the Brother's Grimm as a shadow of the actual truth. Some are legends and histories Sarah Williams comes across in her research on the Underground.
And one that she experiences as a dream...
