In which Xisuma makes choices that redefine his and Ex's lives in the worst way possible and has to live with the consequences. In which Ex has to grapple with the nature of their being and decide what to do about it. And in which some very old forces are at work in new and exciting ways, whose actions set events in motion that won't come to fruition for decades at minimum. Patience is a virtue; the Universe, after all, is telling a very long story.
