Ha pasado poco más de un año y medio desde que Valt enfrentó a Free de la Hoya y le derrotó en un duelo de beyblade. Desde entonces pasó unas largas vacaciones en su país natal, Japón, con un mal sabor de boca al no poder estar con Free de quien no ha tenido noticias y a quien se ha sentido conectado gracias a una melodía que los vinculaba a los dos. Por eso mismo Valt decide viajar en solitario de regreso a España y volver a la sede del BC Sol y hacer realidad un tan ansiado reeencuentro entre ellos, siendo la melodía la que termina guiándole hasta la persona que le robó el corazón.

"What the hell are you doing?" He hears the rough grind of Shu's voice, a symptom of years of shouting and yelling. Free snaps his hands up in defense.
"Just trying to help" He soothes quickly, Valt almost laughs at how Free is treating Shu like an animal that will bite, but he can't find it in himself to make any type of joke, so instead he sits on the floor still clutching his heaving stomach.
"Off." Shu barks, it's violent. Valt wants to laugh at him softly and tell him that it's fine, introduce them without the connotations of needing to beat each other in any type of game because it was over. Free stands up quickly, nodding at Shu.
