Summary
She has three rules: don’t get caught, don’t get attached, and never make deals with devils.
He has a bomb in his chest, a goddess who abandoned him, and a way of talking that slips past her defenses like lockpicks.
The job: steal the Crown of Karsus from an archdevil’s vault before a vampire lord gets there first. Assemble a crew. Crash a vampire masquerade. Break into the Hells. Pull off the ultimate heist.
The problem: he keeps finding cracks in her walls. She keeps letting him. And somewhere between the devil’s bargain and the eighth layer, letting him stops feeling like a mistake.
Canon-divergent slow burn heist fic.

Summary
In the Shadow-Cursed Lands, Teague leads her companions through Shar's darkness toward Last Light Inn. She's already defied the Dream Guardian's orders once—freeing a tortured pixie instead of playing along with the Absolutists—and she's aware she's being handled. Between shadow mastiff ambushes and Gale's breathless confession in front of the entire party, she's juggling tactical survival, moral lines she won't cross, and the growing certainty that the voice in her head isn't as benevolent as it pretends to be.
The shadows press in. Her people are watching. And later—they promised each other later.

Summary
Sleep does not come easily these days. Not that Tav isn’t tired; she is, desperately so. But, between the intrusive visitor in her dreams, the parasite threatening to end her life, and the handsome – not to mention extraordinarily chatty – wizard who won’t leave her thoughts, sleep has become a luxury she fears she may never fully enjoy again.

Summary
Sylvara is a practical and wise cleric of Mielikki from a remote wood-elven village when she gets abducted by mindflayers. Gale is an over-enthusiastic and brilliant wizard from Waterdeep, if slightly arrogant. Sylvara begrudgingly allows him to travel with her to find a cure for their parasite when his knowledge proves to be useful. But there's more to him than meets the eye, and Sylvara finds herself falling for the charming wizard, despite herself.
*This is based on my duo-run with Gale. It includes Wyll, Karlach, and Lae'zel in the party as well in certain situations, but primarily focuses on Sylvara x Gale.

Summary
"There is a situation in Waterdeep. A wizard named Gale Dekarios. He has ... acquired something that poses a significant threat to the city."
"What are my orders?"
"Surveillance. Watch him. Monitor the situation. Report any changes in his condition or behavior. If the orb becomes too unstable, you are to enact this protocol."
"I understand the parameters of the mission, Father. I will not fail."
"May Mystra guide your steps,"
_______________________________He was only ever supposed to be a target, she became his savior. Together, they'll defy the gods, save the world, and claim their own seats in the pantheon.
(This one's for all the Mystra haters)
*A note on Elvish - there is no full D&D Elvish language so I'm just doing my best with whatever I can cobble together from the internet, we'll just go with it.

Summary
Gale nodded, his head turned toward her though his eyes were covered. “I shall be as still as stone. May I inquire as to the… program, as it were, for this evening?”
“I thought perhaps you'd enjoy this in the form of one of your favorite pursuits,” she answered, adjusting the blindfold.
“And what would that be?”
“A lecture, of course. You're going to learn a great deal about the theory of musical sound tonight.”
“Will I, now?” he asked, quietly intrigued.
“There will be substantial demonstrations involved, of course.”
Or, bard gently doms wizard with a lecture on musical sound. They both learn something.

Summary
Lena was heading home from her day job as a software engineer when an llithid nautiloid kidnapped her. Luckily, she's a honey badger shifter, and honey badgers are best known for taking on big cats, hyenas, scorpions, and venomous snakes, and surprisingly, surviving! Unluckily, her new companions might want to murder her because she's decided that she's going to go completely unfiltered. Luckily, her liger best friend, Edie, will help her stay alive. Sorta.
This reads mostly as a Baldur's Gate 3 playthrough with in-game dialog as a jumping-off point for lots of non-canon dialog that I think is funny. Your mileage will vary.
Oh, and awkward attempts at emotional depth and smut. It's not deliberate: I just forget how normal people react. And if you're looking for good smut, look elsewhere. But I'm going to just keep on chugging despite the lack of external validation. Though I do love me some external validation (nudge, nudge).
I also post what amounts to a first draft to be fixed. Later.
'Happy' reading!
There's an epilogue for anyone who wants to punish themselves further!

Summary
“Dance with me,” she said as she tried to pull him away.
Surprise, then relief, then something else washed over Gale’s face. He glanced back between her and the center of camp, where a few others gathered. Alfira strummed the first few notes of the next song. “I’m not sure if I should—” he said.
Astraea took his hand in both of hers, fitting their fingers together, and put on her most brilliant smile. The one that worked on everyone in camp, save perhaps Lae’zel. “Please? You’d say no to Astraea Avenmir, Goblinsbane, Defender of the Grove? Alfira is writing a song about me, Volo is writing a book, Bex said she’d name her cat after me, and I think you,” – she tugged for emphasis – “should dance with me."
---
Gale is doomed. Astraea is a liar. But maybe she can't lie to herself about one thing. -

Summary
In the shadow of the Absolute, every mortal life hangs by a thread—and Olivine Hislith refuses to let a single one snap. A tiefling cleric of Kelemvor with a sweet smile and a mischevious mind, she becomes the unexpected heart of a ragtag party along with her friend, Crimson Winter, the drow bard and the face of the group. She didn't expect this sordid adventure to include falling in love with a wizard that carries a death sentence in his chest, but so be it. Olivine believes each life carries infinite worth… even when the gods disagree.
A series of vignettes following Olivine, Crimson, and the growing family they build on the road to salvation.
(I am writing as I play Baldur's Gate 3 with my spouse. This is a prequel to a fic I plan to write once we finish the game, which will be called The Worth of a Mortal Life and will be based on post-game events. I'm writing these to introduce my character, Olivine, and my spouse's character, Crimson, and to practice writing with these character dynamics, giving sneak peeks into non-canon dialogue and bonding, and to provide a basis from which to build the post-game fic.)

gale starts writing because he’s dying—or might be. because the orb in his chest is hungry, because mystra still watches, because the weave is slipping through his fingers, because hating the storm-sorceress stopped being simple.
somewhere between the first page and the last, it stops being about dying at all.
