The date is at a fancy restaurant and Silver just hopes he doesn't make a fool of himself.

When Sonic causes the collapse of his own timeline, it rebirths into a new universe, one that at first may look the same, but turns out to be very different in many ways. People are different, events have changed, and perhaps second chances at love are possible for those who had never gotten a chance.
This new universe entirely rebuilds Sonic's backstory, and other characters stories, revolving around found family, sacrifices, crushes and fixing stories in the Sonic Game Universe to a accetable rate with a side salad of Sonadow.
The goal of this story is to build a Universe which does contain Sonic and Shadow getting together eventually, but not in the forced manner, but more in a way that would make sense and fit if things were to change. However, this is not the stories only focus.

Meanwhile, Shadow is acting strangely and Eggman hasn't attacked in a little while. Something strange is going on, and Sonic will figure it out. Maybe. If he feels like it.
