Summary
Her first sign that something is off is that the signal is over thirty deca-phoebs out of date.
Her second is that the planet it originates from is a pre-warp civilization.
Her third is that when her scout ship lands, the only one to greet her is a young halfbreed child.
(or, how Keith ended up being raised in the Galra Empire.)

Summary
Captured by the Galra, Keith is given two choices- either lose himself to Haggar's experimentation, or take what might be his only chance at freedom- joining the Galra prince, Lotor. While he might not trust the prince, he'd rather take his chances with him than the witch- even if that means publicly betraying Voltron. It's not like he can go back anyways, after what Haggar did to him.
At least this way, he can keep a close eye on the Galra Prince- or at least, that's the plan. Actually carrying it out proves to be far more difficult than he could have expected, leading him to realize that the real threat might never have been Zarkon.

He did great and was promoted to the rank of a general. His mission was nearly completed, as his attention was caught by a pretty cute omega, imprisoned by Lotor. The circumstances allowed him to keep the boy closer. However, relationships, no matter of which kind, mean a risk…

Summary
Keith knows he doesn't belong. He just doesn't belong anywhere really. He lived with the Blade of Marmora and their bases for most of his life and he knew he didn't belong there. He went undercover in the Galran ranks and knew he didn't belong. Can he find somewhere he can belong without the war and his past trying to ruin his life?

I am a spy. I am an assassin. I am a pilot. A fighter. A friend. A brother. A worker. A high-ranking officer among the ranks of the Galran empire. A killer. A tool for Sendak. A plaything for Haggar. An obstacle to Zarkon.
I am many things and they don’t know half of those things. I'm scared that the universe might be affected when those secrets escape. It's going to be a long mission.

Summary
The path to the castle is still familiar. Keith’s feet step one after another by muscle memory, as if there might still be footprints that match his boots under the thick layer of snow. But that’s just foolish fantasy, he knows. He scowls. Not the only one he’s had, when it comes to him.
After Shiro and his top general and best friend, Keith, win the war against Zarkon, Keith slips away without explanation or goodbyes. Brokenhearted, Shiro rules his kingdom and clings to his memories, always wondering why - until Keith shows up three years later with intel about an impending coup, and they’re thrust together once again.

Summary
A low growl interrupts him, “We ask the questions here,” Brux snarls. “Now tell me, where is the Blade of Marmora.”
Keith would’ve laughed if he wasn’t scared half to death. This entire situation is nothing short of comical, regardless of the obvious threat to his life: he had been abducted by two aliens, could suddenly understand them after not being able to, and now they were asking seemingly meaningless questions that he can’t even begin to comprehend.
He wasn’t able to reply before something hard hit the side of his head, his vision fading to black. Even if he did, Keith didn’t know what he would say. The entire situation is absurd, and he’d likely wake up in his poor excuse for a bed any moment now, this whole scenario being a wild dream.
It was not a dream.
(AU where there is no Voltron, Keith gets abducted, and Lotor wants another General)

Summary
The legend of Voltron was one that Keith had heard often growing up. Stories of great deeds, whispered in hushed tones. Forbidden tales of hope adults would tell children as bedtime stories. Never loud enough to draw any unwanted attention, however. Fables with bits of reality scattered about, but fables nonetheless.
He had heard the stories often enough while growing up. He and Acxa both. Five wise paladins with five great ships that form one symbolic warrior, spreading peace throughout the universe. The countless retellings they had sat through while growing up had built up an image in his mind. An image of what the paladins should be. An image that grew harder to maintain now that he saw what these… new paladins were like.

Summary
“What do you need me to do?” Keith asks with a heavy sigh, all but resigning himself to Lotor's will. He has half a mind to remind Lotor of how lucky he is—Lotor's princely status be damned, Keith would never give his loyalty to just anyone—however, Keith holds his tongue, if only because it seems cruel to claim anyone behind bars is fortunate in any capacity.
“You remember the legend of Voltron, don’t you?” Lotor's tone is lighter than before, as if his question stems from curiosity, rather than a lead-in to what he's about to ask of Keith.
“What about it?” Keith lifts an inquisitive brow, uncertain of where Lotor might be going with this.
A self-satisfied smirk—one Keith can’t help but take solace in—plays upon Lotor’s lips. “It’s real, and I’ve managed to locate one of the lions that comprises Voltron.”
Lotor doesn't need to elaborate further, Keith knows what his next mission is.

Keitor Week- Day 1: Half Galra
"So tell me," he tilted his head as far as he could manage with the thick collar tight around his neck. "What am I to you potentially? A source of entertainment? A pet? A bargaining chip for your father?"
Lotor chuckled at that. The prisoner raised an unimpressed brow. "Believe you me," he assured. "I harbor no love for my father. Anyone who can justify doing this to a person is an utter monster." he reached out to undo the restraints on the prisoner's hands. A complete shot in the dark. "No," he noted briefly the subtle shift into interest in those judging eyes. "I'm here to give you an offer you likely won't refuse."
