Summary

A dark reality seems to mirror our own, glimpses of which a select few have been able to see by studying the Flesh Interfaces. Passageways, but also entities, living on the fringes of reality and drug-induced madness.
The CIA has been studying it under project MK Ultra, and so have the Soviets of course. Occurrences of flesh interfaces have been reported in the midst of the Vietnam War and in Nazi led experiments in the Treblinka concentration camp. Legend has it the bloody countess Elizabeth Bathory and the Manson Family have also been in contact with it through grisly experiments.
But none come in contact with the flesh interfaces unscathed. Death often seems sweeter than what life has to offer afterward...

9 Years have passed since the main events of the murder drones series, after terraforming the planet to make it less of a shithole place to live in, the main cast have settled comfortably in their new lives, but all good things have to end at some point do they? A nearby human remnant fleet has detected the anomalies in Copper-9's terraforming project and are determined to investigate it, will they be able to co-exist with the Worker Drones and mend old scars from years past, or will the conflict between man and machine rage on in a never-ending total war?

Engi the Worker Drone is a relatively simple person.
Strange memories of being a human aside, he'd have preferred a quiet life inside the confines of the bunker, perhaps working on cleaning up the administration and bureaucracy, such that it resembled a real country instead of refugees hiding in a metal box.
Unfortunately, the Murder Drones trying to break into the bunker and kill everyone inside have forced a change of priorities. If peace isn't an option, then the horrors outside Station Three's doors are going to need a formal introduction to the man-made horrors of siege warfare.
Unions will be formed, militias will be raised, doors will be built, and landmines will be buried.
