Summary
Companion story to The Works of Curufinwë. Here, I give a name to Curufin's wife, and speculate on what her relationship with Curufin may have been like.
This is the story of Curufin's family, of the two people closest to his heart. His wife Tancaquárë, and his son Celebrimbor.
For the sake of his great love for his father, Curufin tore apart what he treasured the most. He wounded them grievously, and crushed his own spirit in the process.Yet, despite everything, this little family's love endures.

Forgiveness. Can you imagine?
In the Halls of Mandos, Dior goes seeking the pale wolf that had stalked up to his doors, destroying his home, his kingdom, and his family. He does not know what drives him – fury, or unfinished business, or perhaps even fear – but he is unprepared for what he finds when at last he tracks down Celegorm Fëanorion.

Summary
Never have I ever written an ABO story, until now.
The usual suspects in a different setting but still having family dynamics from hell and so many grievances. Also, everybody is even younger and more confused than the last time. It is still Arda in spirit and custom but geographically it is more like Earthsea.
Like I feared, this turned out to be a somewhat epic endeavor, with a bunch of children craving attention, mysteries, agricultural problems, battles of different kinds, dreams, omens and portents, Dwarrow, fertility rituals, good and evil Valar and me being unexpectedly lenient towards Kings Thingol and Ingwë. And of course there are dragons, too.
There probably should be more sex, and less meetings, but there is a war to be waged and people to be saved, so busy parents have to take what they can get.
So, Prince Fëanáro is returning to the Isle of Tirion from a bout of island hopping....

Summary
He tries to avoid his own people. There are other elf-spirits here too, the hosts of his father still, and the host of each doomed son, but they are faint, indistinct things, not quite close enough to touch. He does not want to see them, and shifts away at each approach, and they fade further from his view, blending into the grey walls of Mandos, hazy echoes of what had been and what might be. He would be the same to them, he has gathered, and thought better of it; he does not want to exist, to them. He does not want to exist, at all. His heart is gone, and his mind has gone with it, all frozen over by the gnashing, vicious ice, the deadened sky, his dead son. Dead. One, one, likely all. They are all dead. That is why they are here.
And then Fingon appears, bleeding and blazing and broken, the fire melting away the ice coating his heart and unlatching each lock, and Fingolfin is a father again.

"Then Fëanor died; but he had neither burial nor tomb, for so fiery was his spirit that as it sped his body fell to ash, and was borne away like smoke; and his likeness has never again appeared in Arda, neither has his spirit left the halls of Mandos."

‘You lied to me!’
It was a blood freezing scream. Never before had Fëanáro heard a sound so awful, it could not even compare to the wails of anguish his son had let out while being burned alive. But the voice itself reminded him of Makalaurë, for it was strong and its’ sound held power.
‘Atar?’ Ambarto asked.
Fëanáro waved him silent and walked toward the door. In his mind he conjured a key, and thus opened. With long strides he walked toward the wailing. To the staircase he went and then down into the dark. -

Summary
Celebrimbor, in the aftermath.
The Halls of Mandos are a place of healing, but how does the (former) greatest of elven smiths even begin to heal when he still can't forgive himself? Also, his dad and the rest of his insane family are there, and he REALLY isn't ready to deal with them. (I can't write summaries)
***
Follows TROP canon as it pertains to Celebrimbor's arc in season 2, but will also very much be a Silm-fic since Celebrimbor's family and other First Age peeps will make appearances. I'm not a Tolkien scholar by any means but I'm doing as much research as I can so please be kind if I make any lore mistakes, I welcome any corrections or helpful insights!
