In this story, Hela doesn't die after the events of Thor: Ragnarok. But her powers are different now that Asgard (the place, not the people) no longer exists to draw her strength from.
She is regrouping on a little known planet, Xylan. There's a modest population made up of folks from many different cultures and planets. Hela is still powerful but changed.
A mortal (originally from Earth/Midgard) chooses kindness when it comes to Hela.
This work is an exploration of the different ways this relationship plays out, depending on Hela's responses and mindset.
Hopefully there will be branches in the story to explore the different possibilities.
