Just as Scaramouche was about to yell again, Dottore finally responded, his voice dry from misuse. “I’m not hungry,” he said, and Scaramouche had to bite back a laugh.
“Really? Not hungry? Dottore, your hands are shaking like crazy and you look ready to pass out. Knowing you, you haven’t slept in a week either. What’s so exciting that you have to deprive yourself of your fucking needs to pursue?” Scaramouche spoke all at once and when he finished, he was slightly out of breath, but that didn’t deter him.
“You need to get your ass up and eat some food, afterwards you can sleep and continue whatever the fuck you’re doing,” Scaramouche decided, walking over to stand beside Dottore. “Let’s go.”
The man heaved a sigh but finally obliged, wiping off the bloodied piece of metal before resting it aside. Dottore took his gloves off and threw them away before pulling a tarp over the body, and then proceeded to rise to his feet.
