Love is why they kept gritting through the hardest and lowest parts of their lives, love is why they find so easy to sacrifice whatever is left of them, love is why they're able to accept this tremendous change in their lives.Because at the end of the day, love is a universal constant, isn't it?

Sure, they knew he was a Seed, one of their best players in fact. And there was that one time Tenma had offhandedly mentioned that Tsurugi had a brother—but even then, they didn’t even know if he was older or younger.
His past, his habits, his life outside of soccer was a complete mystery to them.
And it wasn’t like they could just waltz up to him and ask. Hey, Tsurugi, who have you been texting with heart eyes lately? Yeah, that would go over great. Best case scenario, he’d just flat-out refuse to answer. Worst case? He’d be weirded out, distance himself, and then they’d never get any information.
But in the end, after all their theories, after all their deliberations…
They all arrived at the same conclusion.

“You know, I hate you.” Arazen chuckles at Raimon, as they stand against each other. They look at the vixen with looks of dismay, confusion, anger. Anger especially.
“I hate you because I love you.” She points at her friends (why only now does she have the courage, or rather, the audacity to call them that), laughs brokenheartedly and continues.
“And I hate myself even more for that.”
Tenma, with what he remembers, knows that if he has to knock commonsense into his friend (because by god, no one can possibly survive knowing your friends don’t remember you while you do remember them, no one except Arazen), he’ll have to fight her.
Not with soccer. But with his wings, and his bare hands. He hates that the fight might get messy, that it’ll result in more scars added to each other’s collection of already existant scars.
But if he has to lose a bit of blood to knock sense into her, so be it,
(He doesn’t miss the way all seven them have their eyes glow radiantly violent, as he yells while lunging towards her.)

Saru wasn't happy. After finding out that the Second Stage Children would lose their powers after being defeated by Raimon, he goes back to the past and plans to awaken the powers of one of the players who held the same power the SSC had. The only way he had thought to force his powers out was to torture him mentally and emotionally without being seen or heard by anyone. The only thing that pisses Saru off was Raimon heard about his plans and goes back to the past as well, planning to stop his plans.
Hiura on the other hand, couldn't tell anyone about this. The voice he was hearing... was he going insane? Or someone was really watching and following him? No one would believe him even if he told them about it, especially now that they were in the middle of the war against Orion. He decided to keep everything to himself, but how long can he keep this secret from his friends and teammates?
