Summary
Xie Lian finds himself in a strange village where everyone appears bewitched to speak truthfully and without restraint, causing discord and fighting amongst themselves. Now hardly anyone will speak, for fear of causing offense and starting a fight. However, holding it in seems to also have consequences.
It's up to Xie Lian, the two gods of this shared territory, and a his husband to get to the bottom of it and cure them of this affliction.
Sure would suck if all four of them ended up cursed to speak the brutally honest truth themselves....

Mu Qing has to send a clone down to answer a prayer and it runs into a long forgotten crown prince.
This is just a silly little story about Xie Lian and Mu Qing meeting by accident about 200 years into Xie Lian's banishment.
It involves a stolen spiritual item, an ugly dog, and several rogue clones.
Remember when Xie Lian mentioned not recognizing Mu Qing's voice because he hadn’t seen him in ‘five or six hundred years’? This is that time!
This story is for @Ameji’s TGCF Clone Week, and each chapter (day) follows as many of the prompts as I can manage to get in there. There are clones, but I will not /exactly/ be using these prompts for their intended clone-related purpose jsyk lmao. At least not all of them. Honestly, I have no idea what I was doing with this.

Although Xie Lian did react with godlike speed, San Lang managed to move even faster than the god did. Before Xie Lian could snatch the snake with his hand, the red-clad youth already sprung in front of him, catching the outstretched limb and blocking the viper with his own body.
“San Lang!” Xie Lian yelped, half-impressed for getting outrun, half-worried that the scorpion-snake might have attacked his companion.
“Gege!” it was Tian Sheng calling out, his expression terrified.
Xie Lian took a step away to see what had happened. The snake was hanging at San Lang’s side, both its fangs and the tail sunken deep into San Lang’s robes that were slowly changing their colour from crimson to a deep shade of mahogany, wet with blood seeping from the wounds.OR: Hua Cheng doesn't let Xie Lian get bitten, and it leads to an interesting series of events.
This is part 2 of the series, but it can be read as a standalone. I would appreciate it if you read part 1, though. It's tiny and it's also about Xie Lian drooling at Wuming. Short story even shorter, Xie Lian fell in love with the ghost way earlier in the timeline.Series
