On the screen was someone’s psych profile, most of it redacted. As he pushed his glasses up into his hair, he read it over twice after the first didn’t match anyone he knew to be in Arkham. He could hear others around him shifting as they also realized something was off. It was fun and games until the Joker straightened, Harley’s fingers still clutching his arm to keep him seated.
“Is he doing this again?’ Jonathan muttered, finally putting together what Harley apparently already had. “It’s his profile.’
“His?’ Tetch prompted, before his mouth curled into an o of understanding. “Why again? Do you think it’s dementia?’
“It’s his attempt to lord it over us simple minded folk that his intellect is far superior.’
When Jonathan opened his mouth he received an elbow to his side, narrowed gaze refusing to return the silent threat with attention. He wasn’t wrong, didn’t that sound just like Edward? But this wasn’t about him, it was about the egomaniac using the rec room to attempt to bore everyone to death.
“What about Bruce Wayne?’ Jonathan drawled, the hushed conversations abruptly falling silent. “That is his profile you did a piss poor attempt at hiding.’
