“Young man, my daughter is blind, she does not need a menu,” the man said gruffly.
“Really?” Zuko raised his eyebrow in shock. His fake smile was replaced by a more genuine one. “Me too!” -

Summary
This is a continuation of my AU where Zuko is captured at the North Pole during the Siege of the North and sent to the Spirit World. He ended up in the Andor(TV) universe and in the Imperial Narkina V Prison facility. You do not need to read that one to understand this one, but it will probably help set the background for this story. And I apparently can't stop making references to it.
Head's up, Zuko might be a little Out Of Character for Book 2, but that is because he is already redeemed.
Also, Zuko's bad luck is pretty much the only constant in his life, and it will return with a vengeance at some point.
Also, I am Canadian, therefore you may notice some spelling differences from American English. Most common are honour and colour, but there may be more. If you spot it, that is all it is.

Normally there'd be a punchline here, but it's quickly apparent that Ba Sing Se — and its reputation as the one place untouched by a century of war — is no joke.

Summaries for the most recent chapters
Drabble No. 12: Jet had his little gang, and it's a perfectly adequate found family. But it's not enough to erase his past trauma.
Drabble No. 13: Hama is the last waterbender alive in the Fire Nation prison. With no one but the rats and guards to interact with, something in her snaps.
Drabble No. 14: On Ji was a bit in love with Kuzon, but more so enraptured with the shift in thinking he wrought, the changes he left in his wake.
Drabble No. 15: A set of four haiku on each of the four elements. Might be my favorite of the bunch (so far).
Drabble No. 16: Wan Shi Tong is really a simple spirit. The owl just wants to know everything. Why, then, is he still not satisfied with his lot in life?
