i (18m) have been friends with sara (17f) for about 2 years now. recently we had a big fight, which led to me getting suspended (long story dw about it). when i came back to school, she seemed to have forgiven me, but quickly i learned that she's hiding a big secret that i have reason to believe is dangerous. AITA for following her to another city to make sure she's safe on her trip?EDIT: a lot of you are asking for context that's not really relevant but if ur curious i answered some questions in the replies

Summary
Life in Wellston was going so well for John. He may have gotten into the occasional fight, but his facade has been intact, he has a god-tier best friend, and his life is set…but suddenly, an unexpected shadow from his past comes to threaten his entire facade. It’s fine! He can ignore her, he can avoid her, he can- and Seraphina’s been suspended. Well, shit.
Elizabeth was the Queen of New Bostin. Her loyalty to John was always ingrained in his power, even going so far as to scorn Zirian in the end…but one week after John’s expulsion from New Bostin, she was expelled herself. After facing the same readjustment classes John did, she hasn’t emerged unchanged…and not in the way that the authorities would want.
The latest in my series of unOrdinary AUs! “Double Negative” worldbuilding is canon here, but you don’t need to read that story to read this one. This is just a fun idea I had for a story.

Summary
A unique spin on the unOrdinary soulmarks AU, with a good sprinkling of overpowered power couple for flavor of course.
Will heavily diverge from canon. Characters may be slightly “ooc” because of this, but mostly because I intend to take their growth down a different path.

The odds are 8 billion to one, after all. What are the chances, really, that you’d just so happen to bump into one singular person in a lifetime, amongst the masses of humanity? Amongst the other trials and tribulations of life… it simply cannot afford to be a priority. And so, the truest enemy of finding one’s bonded… is often themself. A lack of motivation- of time, of effort- or even of care. And so, the story goes on. People live their lives, they laugh their laughs and cry their cries- and thusly decide there’s simply no time for such a fool’s errand.
At least, until one fateful day- in a place where the strong dominate the weak, and where power is placed on the highest pedestal…
Fate reveals its greatest hand- setting off a chain of events that threatens to tear down every preconception held by the people of the world about just what ‘limits’ are really in place.

Summary
It’s a broken world wobbling on the stilts of power and regiment. A world dictated by levels and abilities. Unbalanced. Undisciplined. Unfair.
After John’s suspension from Wellston, Spectre and the Bureau mobilize to capture him - their next best resource: the usurper to patient Jane - taking seemingly any risky maneuver for their own gain.
In this collision course of abilities and allegiance, everyone learns something new about themselves for both better and worse. Loyalty is never cut and dry, as bad is not always evil.
One thing is for certain; the evils were always there like invisible ink.
Now they needed to be the blacklight.

Summary
Sera never expected to find out the secret that her friend told her. Neither did she realize she would be running around at night fighting with criminals. She also didn't realize she would encounter three other people in the top ten of Wellston doing the exact same thing and with similar goals.
OR
Sera finds out John has an ability earlier, doesn't lose her ability, and finds a unique way to help/train John that doesn't involve hospitalizing other students.

Summary
Their lives have always been the same: stay on the run from the law, continue running the business, live each and every day with the fear of being caught hanging over their heads like a guillotine.
Until one day, when their unjust paths cross, and everything they know is put on the line. Their stories are rewritten, but the next line is never what they'd expect.
Their lives have been decorated with cinnabar. It's only a matter of time before the poison sets in.

Summary
It is the responsibility of those gifted with powerful abilities to stand over the rest of society, to make sure every citizen knows their place. For Arlo, this is the belief that has been instilled in him since he was young, and one that he has upheld fanatically ever since the disastrous end of his mentor’s alternative system.
So when Wellston's rank one steps outside the hierarchy, concerning herself with trivial matters and in the company of the school’s lowest ranker, Arlo schemes to drag both into their rightful roles. His plan? To isolate the weakest link, the false cripple, and squeeze him out like a lemon.
But just before Arlo’s plot can reach its climax, an unforeseen party steals away his means of attack, throwing his plan into ruins and leaving him at the mercy of the two students he’s despised most. Now forced to feign strength to hide weakness, and to keep playing friendly with John, Arlo must navigate a Wellston that’s far more dangerous to him than before, all the while confronting ugly truths about the hierarchy he’s venerated his entire life.

Summary
Three months before the events of “unOrdinary,” the countryside outside of Wellston witnessed a beautiful array of shooting stars. Some of them twinkled with lights unfamiliar to starlight! An astronomical wonder. Some even think they saw it crash to the earth…but soon, the strange wonder was forgotten, just another strange event for urban legends.
Moments after falling into the void under the bridge, Team RWBY, Jaune, and Neo crash land in a world unfamiliar to them…yet, oddly familiar. Semblances are known as “abilities,” aura has a completely different definition, and the moon is intact.
This fic is inspired by “No longer who we used to be” by Moxy125! Of course, I expect this to take a vastly different direction. There will also be hints of my “Double Negative” unOrdinary AU, but you don’t need to read it to understand this.
This fic also crosses over with a post-canon version of the Ruby ROWSE AU starting Chapter 52. You don't need to read it to enjoy this fic. This fic will not contain spoilers for yet-to-be-written chapters of that au.Series

Summary
In a world bound by ink and prophecy, the story was meant to unfold one way.
The Saintess would rise, the Villainess would fall, the Heroine would triumph, and the Oracle would tell the legend. The Emperor would rule with an iron heart, the Tower Master would unleash forbidden power, the Grand Duke would drew blood to protect his love, and the Watcher would uncover the world’s greatest lie.
That was how the tale was written.
But fate—mischievous and unpredictable—had other plans.
Eight souls, bound by a friendship forged in another world, were pulled into the heart of the tale. They did not belong to this realm, and yet, here they were—scattered across kingdoms, caught in roles not their own.
The girls awoke first, memories intact, hearts heavy with truth. They knew who they were and what this world expected of them. The storybook they’d once read was no longer fiction—it was their prison, their stage, and their battlefield.
The boys, however, remembered nothing. Stripped of their past, they embraced their new identities without question, oblivious to the eyes that watched them with sorrow and hope.
The world turned.
This story will not end the way it was written.
