Since the mechanic's crush hopped onto a ship, Hajime gets dragged along to become a stowaway, encountering the most overpowered and antisocial merman in the ocean.

[Pregame/no-ultimates AU]
Hopes Peak Academy is like any other old high school.
Mind-numbingly BORING, as nothing interesting seems to happens there.
Shuichi gets through school with his best friends Kirumi, Kokichi, Kaito, and Miu. These friends would do anything for each other. Anything.Shuichi's life gets flipped upside down when an apocalypse erupts in their usually quiet school, along with their uneventful but homely town, Kashinobushi.
A virus spreads, causing those infected to turn into cannibalistic monsters.Shuichi, his friends, and some of his classmates end up getting trapped in their own school when the virus hits.
Naturally, Shuichi is concerned for any possible students who may die in their group. Its up to Shuichi to protect any possible victims and make sure no one else dies.
...That's easier said than done, you know.
This is an on-going story of a zombie-apocalypse AU, containing characters from the Danganronpa franchise. Since this is not only Danganronpa but a zombie apocalypse, there will be descriptions of death, gore, murder, and sexual content that may or may not be uncomfortable for certain audiences.

An anonymous Danganronpa fan asked me to write an AU where most of the characters are superheroes and supervillains. The particulars of this AU, as stipulated by (or developed collaboratively with) Anonymous, include but are not limited to:
- Nagito and Mahiru are Spider-Man and Spider-Woman, dating each other and Sato.
- Makoto is a civilian who is personal friends with a lot of heroes and villains and dating reformed-villain Byakuya.
- Hajime is inhabited by an Eldritch intelligence called Izuru Kamukura (and might one day join the polycule).
- Literally, we collaborated on a whole Google Doc of every character's powers, backstory, and affiliations.
