Summary
Kyle Reese is John Connor's right hand man, trusted implicitly with the future of all mankind and the protection of that future's mother, Sarah Connor. The machines have lost the war and as a last desperate act the T-800 is sent to 1984 Los Angeles to kill Sarah Connor. Despite how valuable he is as a soldier to the resistance John allows Reese to pursue the terminator voluntarily knowing he will never come back one way or another.
Kyle Reese has been hopelessly in love with the legendary Sarah Connor since his commanding officer first gifted him with a photo of her. He cherishes every story of her bravery and allows himself only one indulgence in his bleak life, to dream of fighting along side her, to protect her and most precious of all the desire to be loved by her in return.
Volunteering to cross time and be in her presence is a dream come true regardless of possible death and the certainty of being stranded in the past. Can he protect Sarah while hiding his love for her?
(Kyle and Sarah deserved a happy ending and John deserves to have a normal life. Changing the past in this story has actual benefits beyond SkyNet being destroyed)

Emporio is then transported to an alternate world where the new threat is not-so much Dio anymore, but a psychotic military AI who desires the destruction of humanity, starting with the Joestars. The Joestars then face this new threat and their devilish companions throughout the years.

Summary
The work is based on an already existing amazing love scene from the first “Terminator” movie, with some extensions in-between as well. I came up with the idea of what actions might have taken place between the alternating shots of what was shown to the viewers (and a little bit of afterwards before the cyborg would find their location) and made this one.
I love this beautiful and electrifying chemistry between Sarah and Kyle, the way he admires her, respects her and selflessly cares about her, the way she starts trusting him thanks to it all, the way they mutually stand by each other in the end and mutually try to save each other’s lives. I always wondered why there were so few fanfics about these two, so I ended up writing my own one.
I guess it’s an extremely unpopular pairing, but hope someone out there will find it and like it -

So long as humans live, there will come a point where they trust machines too much.
So long as the machines create time-travel, they will send terminators back.
With the destruction of Skynet and John being born with Sarah Connor and Kyle Reese off the grid, Legion rose. As Legion became self-aware, Judgement day occurred but the human leader John Connor had a guard that Legion wouldn’t be able to defeat. It converted their forces against it, was able to reprogram their own soldiers and no matter what they threw at the humans, they proved their resilience to win. Legion ran the numbers and decided that striking at John and his generals with the infiltration INF series gave much better odds for the death of John Connor, it might be enough to at weaken the human’s power so it possible to circumvent John Connor’s bodyguard ‘The Relic’.
Too bad the INF-8 was only recently developed before the humans defeated Legion.
Too bad Legion miscalculated the time.
Too bad the humans had augmented to send back.
