While sent on a mission to the United States, she meets 'The Fox.' a seperate fighter for the same cause of the New Order, in the United States. After meeting him she comes to realise that everything that she thought she knew about her time at Hogwarts, was a lie and as her world comes crashing down, she must figure out how to not only deal with her new perspective, but also figure out a plan to overthrow the indestructible King and Queen.

Summary
An ultra slow burn Drarry that begins with a Fifth-Year retelling and continues through the final battle at Hogwarts.
Harry begins to distrust Dumbledore after the events of his fourth year, turning to an unlikely source for knowledge and information. The Occupation of Malfoy Manor by Voldemort leads Draco down a path that diverges significantly from the rest of his family. Harry being made a Prefect sets in motion a large rift in the Golden Trio, ultimately resulting in irreparable damage. Harry learns what real friendship is and who he can trust while making several self-discoveries along his path to rid the Wizarding World of Voldemort for good.
There are several plot points from the original source material that remain unchanged and are therefore only referenced and implied. While I don't care for the author's personal views, I enjoy her writing and will not be re-writing anything that happens as they appeared in the books. This fic is long enough as it is! There will be author notes for any chapter that includes or alludes to these scenes.
Please make note of the canonical character death tag and remember what happens in Order of the Phoenix.

Harry knew if he wanted his suffering to end, he would have to end it himself. So after his third year, after finding out he could have had a loving family all along and was still given away to be tortured and feared for his life. Something snaps and Harry decides then and there.
Harry Potter would be ending his suffering, and those around him as well.
With a new set of friends and a new sense of purpose, Harry goes into his fourth year, a different boy than he was before. What will await him? Dumbledore and Voldemort won't know what's coming for them.
