Without Vox’s much louder, much more obnoxious snoring to keep Velvette awake, she similarly passes out quickly, leaving Vox awake & trapped in the loving embrace of his business partners

Silence filled the small, empty closet Vox remained in, where only static could be heard, which had been at least a month.
The month has been quite gut-wrenching for Vox, to say the least.
He was stuck with his thoughts, and he didn’t like it.
Not one bit..Takes place a month after the Season 2 Finale, and as expected, Vox's Meltdown had aftermath consequences, and the other Vees aren't letting him off the hook that easily, even if they didn't abandon him. Vox is slowly understanding the extent of his mistakes, but can't help but mourn what could've been. If he doesn't let go of the past, things will just continue to drag him down for the worst.

Vox got flustered easily when it came to him, Valentino noticed. Others could say the exact same thing, with the same and he'd shoot them an annoyed glare and wave them off, but with Valentino, it was like the man was short circuiting to keep his own composure.

He watched the doors fall closed, which filled him with a sense of emptiness. Valentino was an interesting one, alright. They would see each other again? Was Valentino planning on that?
Whatever Valentino meant by it, they did end up seeing each other again. Many times.
Vox had actually showed up with flowers a few times at Valentino’s club, and serenading him with his charming self. (Or, his dumb, humiliating, and embarrassing self.)
And he had ended up making the same mistake he had made with Alastor, letting his guard down and being vulnerable. Yet this time, it had actually worked out in the end.
