Byleth once again was getting ready for the upcoming yearly Winter Musical for Garreg Mach. This year, he was looking for a mirror to use for the play and happened to find the perfect one at an antique store. But the store owner warns him of the stories that come with the mirror. Still, Byleth doesn't believe in such things and buys it.
But strange things start to happen. He dreams yet has no memory of the dreams but unknown to him, there is someone in the mirror waiting...waiting for the right moment to make him remember and never let go.

Summary
At the Battle of Gronder Field, Byleth and his Golden Deer are shocked when they find themselves facing not just Edelgard’s Imperial forces, but also a brutal army from Faerghus led by a rabid Prince Dimitri. On the battlefield, Felix asks Byleth to save Dimitri’s life. After making a promise to protect Dimitri, Byleth stops him from pursuing Edelgard’s retreating forces.
However, having underestimated the damage and torment that characterizes Dimitri’s mind, Byleth finds himself having to contend with saving this man he neither knows nor recognizes. He does not know how to handle the prince, whose mental state continues to deteriorate as he screams for vengeance and speaks with the dead more than the living.
Caught between Dimitri’s emotions and Claude’s logic, Byleth is faced with an overwhelming torrent of new feelings he’s never experienced before. Nevertheless, he resolves to help Dimitri by any means necessary.

Dimitri, now 24, has been the king of Faerghus for two years; he begins to feel the pressure of the work and responsibilities entitled to the task of king. He looks for a secretary to help him alleviate the work.
Jeralt recommends his son, Byleth, who he boasts about, explaining how diligent he is.
The day has come, and Byleth is escorted to Dimitri's office by Dedue. Upon meeting, Dimitri's preconceptions of Byleth were proven wrong. He was nothing like Jeralt. He was quiet and straight to the point, and the most annoying part was his expression never changed. Dimitri felt wary and unsure.
However, this is only the beginning of their relationship and their journey. While the road holds blossoming and budding experiences and feelings for the two, a thorny path threatens the sunny pasture waiting for them.
This will be a 3-part fic separated into the 3 major arcs of the story.
