Summary
Forced to live a life that was not hers to live, Princess Haruka covertly takes up the mantle of the heir apparent "prince" after the death of her mother. Stress starts to get to the princess-turned-prince as years in her peculiar position pass her by. She begins to write letters to a mother she never truly got to know as the kingdom she was doomed to inherit slowly falls apart.
Though the longing for a life left behind lingered, it never got so strong as when she eventually stumbles on a modest maid from the countryside. Combined with influence from meetings with her kingdoms very own subjects, Haruka begins to doubt her duty to her kingdom.

I was never too familiar with it—it seemed I was only ever just watching rather than participating, but I figured I had picked up the rules pretty quickly. Their voices would become a cacophony of laughter before long—and then they’d all be warm.
