Summary
Aang feels as though he's making a mistake, pushing into the storm like this. Something tells him that he's going to regret it if he does not turn around right now. He isn't sure if it's because he's now(always has been) the avatar but it's like there's this new profound wisdom making him think more about his actions. Maybe that is the reason why he's pulling on Appa's reins to get him to turn around and go back to the southern air temple, where he should've been all along.

Summary
Gyatso is deeply concerned about Aang. He never seems to stop and consider his own well-being. When Gyatso discovers a crack in the chasm, he and the rest of the Elder Council decide it’s best to reveal Aang's identity as the Avatar immediately. The future looks bleak. Will Aang have what it takes to maintain balance, or will the pressure prove too much for him?
This story serves as the starting point for another fanfic I wrote on the same subject, but here I wanted to delve even deeper into Aang's emotions. It's an AU, so don't be surprised if Aang acts out of character. He's basically a completely different person.

Overall, she’s had a wonderful experience so far; full of light, learning, and friendship. Katara is positive she wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world, especially because of how it brought Aang into her life. But still—
She whirls, too fast, and a gate catches the curve of her shoulder blade. Katara trips over her own foot, crying out in pain, and falls off of the platform, landing solidly onto her back with an oomph!
“Ow,” she whines, unwittingly, as Aang dashes to her in a panic.
