Running from the FBI in a stolen van wasn't exactly how Mothman planned to spend his summer. But sometimes things happen, and sometimes those things are the government making plans to eliminate all cryptids and monsters, so you adapt. Now, he's found himself caught up in what must be the weirdest road trip the world has ever seen, travelling across the USA with his friends as they seek out other cryptids to save them from the FBI's grasp. And hey, maybe they'll have some fun along the way. That, and more iced coffee than any living being should ever consume. Yeah, more iced coffee than anything else.
Important note: these first few chapters have been gradually written over the course of two years, so you may notice some slight changes in writing style and the ways I characterize different cryptids. I have no intention of fixing this. <3

The roadtrip from Pennsylvania to Alabama is a long and agonizing one. Larry absolutely refused to step foot on an airplane, so flying was out of the question. After nearly 12 full hours on the road and countless, increasingly unfunny incest jokes, the three parked in the lot of a Tuscaloosa hotel. With nothing but a video camera, a few extra SD cards, their phones and an extra set of clothes, the three must adapt to the strange, southern world around them.
TL;DR, a bunch of teenagers with video cameras lost in the woods. What could go wrong?
