Summary
Jacob Portman has been hospitalized for months in a psychiatric institution, but he shows no improvement. He has outbursts, and his mind only creates new scenarios, new monsters, and fears. Desperate for a solution, his parents discover a psychiatric institution in Wales, the same one where Abraham Portman, Jacob's grandfather, spent much of his life dealing with his schizophrenia. The institution presents itself as a light at the end of the tunnel, a home for children with unique problems like Jacob's.
Jacob is introduced to an island, a large house, children with peculiar behaviors, women named after birds, and dangers hidden behind dark glasses. Some dangers are not just hallucinations.

Miss Avocet's niece was always an outcast to her peers, growing up at the Ymbryne academy and being a late bloomer. Adeline always had at least a sliver of hope that she'd be great one day. That was until a certain little girl showed up at their doorstep, already ten times as advanced as she was. The young girl was forced to watch as her auntie, her friends, and everyone she looked up to shifted their attention on Alma. Adeline faded in to the background

A somewhat canon-compliant fic that follows Percy Weasley's life, and his relationship with Oliver Wood over the years. It begins in his first year and ends in 1998. This is an extended version of my other fic "do i wanna know". However, upon review, I have made a few changes (improvements) that will happen over the course of the fic. "do i wanna know" provides an oversimplified review of what this will be like. So check it out!
This one will be, not extremely slow burn, but definitely moves slower in terms of Oliver and Percy and their relationship, because it takes place over a longer period of time.
