Summary
A few years after she was born, her father was discharged from the military. His mental health had worsened. She never knew what was exactly wrong with him, but she knew something was going on. When she got accepted for Ilvermorny, he had been the proudest parent. She had fooled the school, though. When a professor showed up to let her know she was magical, they told her to not tell anyone. She asked if she could tell her half-brother, Glenn Rhee. Glenn was not her brother. She had met him at Sunday school.
Her father figured it was better for her to know how to survive than not. He trained her from a young age about surviving in the woods. She knew how to forage, how to hunt, how to become invisible. When she was older, he trained her in types of martial arts. She soaked it up. It was something she and her father did when she was at home. When she turned 15, he taught her how to shoot. Handguns, sniper rifles, anything he deemed important. He figured that shit ever went down. She needed to know how to survive. It was beyond funny to her that after he died, the world indeed seemed to go to shit.
Now she has to take on the Walking Dead with her best friend Glenn. Will they survive?

(OCF x Daryl Dixon)
This story follows the events of the show, however there will be some minor and major changes.
I don’t own TWD characters or the plot. I also don’t own some of the lines scattered throughout the story that are referenced from some shows and movies I love. The only things I own are the original characters I created and the changes I made to the plot.

If General Augustine Melgren was anything, it was unpredictable.
Nobody would have been surprised if he had stayed single forever. He had never shown interest in anything more than sex, but one day, word filtered back to King Tauri that his general had gotten married to a red-headed wisp of a girl from Tyrrendor.
The couple returned to the palace in Calldyr, only for the girl to fall pregnant shortly after.
Nobody expected the doting husband and father that emerged from the bitter, ice-cold man.
Most people thought he would be disappointed when the child was born a girl.
But everyone saw how much he adored her.
The small red-headed girl, who looked so much like her mother, had somehow managed to wrap the most powerful rider alive around her tiny fingers.
This is the story of Lyra Melgren.

Summary
The aerial corps does not tolerate cross-provincial rivalry within the barracks. The winds over Poromiel are strongest when Storm Talons, Summitwings, and Mist Feathers fly together. The enemy will not care which sky you call home–only whether you fall from it.
-Excerpt from the Poromiel Aerial Corps Field Manual
The skies have opened to welcome Dragon and Gryphons in the same air space, but unity is a fragile thing. Beneath the delicate illusion of alliance simmers rivalries older than the provinces themselves.
Third-year drift leader Selyne Mirevael has unsettled the Aretian Quadrant with the flier’s dangerous mind-magic and uncomfortable truths. Bodhi wants to trust her—needs to—but every whisper in the wind could be another illusion, every touch part of a larger game.
As reality frays and deception soars, they must decide whether to follow their hearts, or survive by doubting everything. By doubting each other.
Iron Flame from the POV of the fliers. Exploring the consequences of bringing mind magic into an already distrustful situation, and having to trust your heart over your head, especially when you can't trust your own mind.
