Summary
Murvrum never asked to participate in this war, just as his people never asked to have it forced upon them. At his weakest moment, as he's truly regretting the life he's been made to live, the enemy surprises him with their mercy... even if he must allow them to take samples from him to be fashioned into bioweapons against his people in return.
Strangely, though, one of those enemies in particular quickly grows very attached to him, and their leader is unexpectedly benevolent. It makes Murvrum wonder if there's been some sort of misunderstanding.

Whatever it took to defend her sister who’s somehow in this mess too, the new friends she’s made, and the best friend who doesn’t even remember she exists, she’ll do. All that matters is she keeps their promise.

Everyone is a little antsy, and not in the 'we're fighting a war for humanity' way, and more of a 'spring break' way. Sirei also suspiciously ran away to 'check on how the paint is drying in the defence room'. Left to their own devices, how will the warriors at Last Defence Academy cure their heated blood...? And if you've read my previous Master Detective Archive's work, you know what you're getting into.
A story where YOU can help shape the choices Takumi makes, and in time, be able to pick them yourself, but for now, help shape them.
Can you lead us to the fabled Sandwich route?

Hiruko made Takumi promise that the truth wouldn't destroy him. If she knew what the truth actually was, she'd have known that there was no way he'd be able to keep that promise.
Nothing Takumi Sumino does from now on means anything, because somewhere else in time, he's already won. And if he's already achieved a happy ending, then why should he still strive towards one when he knows he'll never be able to enjoy it?
