Aizawa Shouta reluctantly accepts a job offered by the HPSC: to pick up a rehabilitated (and allegedly reformed) Shigaraki Tomura, nowadays going by his birth name Shimura Tenko, from a remote facility in Hokkaido and drive him all the way to Shizuoka. He’s also saddled with three of his students, because, according to All Might, this is what passes for practice now. Shouta might not immediately accept that Shimura has turned over a new leaf, despite what doctors or authorities have to say, but as the kilometers pass and the distance to their destinations shortens, the two former enemies begin to find some common ground.
Redemption arcs are hard. Road trips with teenagers and a former supervillain? Even harder.

Kattigan, who has so far been simply a silent observer, nods. “Happens to the best of us,” he says solemnly, his mouth twitching with effort. It takes a moment for Wicander to realise, only after what follows, that he is suppressing laughter. “You wouldn’t be the first one to struggle keeping it up.”
Or, after discovering his own angelic nature, Wicander encounters a problem of a rather delicate nature. Angelic puberty, that is.
