Summary
When a routine mission through the Void takes a disastrous turn, a lone Tenno finds himself stranded in a universe not his own—one without Orokin tech, without allies, and teeming with unstable powers called "parahumans." Summary
Despite the warnings from Loid and Lotus, our small Tenno makes their own way to 1999. After the Drifter took on the task of reversing the big bang of 1999 things got lonely, especially since Drifter took Excalibur. The only push the kid needed was the absence of their Nidus. Nidus they took a long time caring for and nurturing their infection to a manageable level is now with the Drifter without warning.
It's only a matter of time that a traumatized child with abandonment issues takes back their comfort warframes, maybe even meet the Hex. How unfortunate our Operator didn't get that translator Drifter made.

Jeremiah scratched at his lazy beard. Sinking deeper. "She... she never asks for help. She's a big strong baddie even without me. If anything, she kinda puts me to shame."
"So you... really respect her. Is that a thing in all Tenno? Always acknowledging your betters?" Jeremiah knew by Arthur's tone that he's just teasing, but the double meaning was still unpleasant, like a flower wilting in front of him. Tenno.
"What makes you ask all of a sudden?"
"I was wondering. You know, at the end of the year. Or somewhere in the middle, I don't know. The big game plan I suppose. If... Your origin system is handled, and your laundry is folded, do you ever think you'll return?"
Jeremiah tried not to smile and failed. "I haven't been back for a while, really. But I can - Like how I do with Duviri."
"You've been here every day as far back as I can remember."

The Drifter escapes nearly unscathed with the Hex and the New Year, with perhaps only a little bit of emotional damage. A new trouble brews on the horizon, more than Jeremiah knows how to solve with the traditional way: with fists, fire, and bullets.
