When eighth year begins, he flees to the Room of Requirement to escape it all. It’s quiet there. Safe. Until it isn’t—until Draco Malfoy shows up. They agree to ignore each other, which goes about as well as you’d expect.
Includes: magical shenanigans, a snake named Thistle, thestral babies, inappropriate uses of Parseltongue, cozy chaos, smutty smut and angsty angst, and two idiots falling in love.

Summary
Harry decides to be a decent date to Parvati at the Yule Ball during fourth year and the whole Tri-wizard Tournament debacle. She is pleasantly surprised and decides to give him a chance at more, kissing him at the end of their date and starting him on a different path than canon. This leads to some serious changes in his and everyone he cares about lives', setting them on journey of unexpected relationships, new experiences, lots of teenage hormones and embarrassment, and changed destinies.
The first book of the story is completely written and will end up being around 40 chapters, depending on editing and if I get any wild new ideas while I'm revising. I'm planning on posting around a chapter a week until complete.

Death gave him a look that screamed you should know better. “No, Potter. You’re going back.”
Harry blinked. “Back where?”
A slow, sharp-toothed grin. “Oh, you’ll love this.”

As Sirius fell through the Veil, Harry chased after him, he could not lose Sirius, he remembers people screaming his name, but all he could think of was Sirius, he expected to just grab him and pull him out once he fell through it, but instead, he returns back from the Veil, but Sirius is gone, but Harry is no longer the same Harry. When he stepped out of the Veil, Harry had memories of wizards and witches who fell through that Veil, one of them belonging to a Salazar Slytherin.
