Orion’s instinct was screaming at him to run away, but his magic was keeping him rooted to the stage. All he could do was look at her, and no matter what he did, he could not take his eyes off her. Artemis’ eyes were the most beautiful liquid gold he had ever seen, and even though it sent waves of fear running through him, he still wanted to drown in them.(Since I wrote this several years ago, I decided to update it to fit the style of writing I do today. It features new content that clarifies certain aspects of the story’s themes, and the characters have become more fleshed out. I hope you enjoy it even if you read it for the first time or again!)

Once a year, on any night of Peeve’s choosing, an event took place at Hogwarts. It wasn’t marked on every student’s calendar; they had to be in the know.
Ever the keen observer, Hermione Granger followed two tipsy witches tiptoeing past the library as she was leaving a late-night study session, rubbing the sleep forming in her eyes. Well, she was wide awake when she saw their bare feet creeping over marble in incredibly short dresses, done up to the nines, save for their faces, for they were…well, they were ghostly apparitions floating like a helium balloon bobbing on a string. The stark contrast between ghost glamour and human form was alarming.
Thank Godric, she’d followed them, for she had stumbled into a secret night at Hogwarts which she now very much looked forward to each year.
The anonymity the glamours provided meant these witches and wizards were loosening any knots in their wands and exploring any kinks without shame, and this year, Hermione was going to get stuck in the thick of it.
