The former Deliverer was cut off from his self-deprecating words when Mydei brought him into a hug. He wrapped his arms around Phainon’s waist and his shoulders, hugging him closely. “It’s not your fault, Phainon,” Mydei whispered. The man in his arms was rendered speechless. But… it was his fault… The experiment happened because of Phainon, how could he not be to blame. Phainon shook his head, and the second he struggled to exit Mydei’s gentle yet firm grasp, he held him tighter.
