After the whole Ultron mess, Peter’s finally getting a breather on Krakoa—until Doctor Strange calls with the worst kind of news: Marc Spector’s alive, but not really there.
So yeah, Peter does what any semi-responsible space outlaw with terrible coping skills would do—grabs his ship, argues with a magic wizard, and walks straight into a haunted multi-dimensional building to pick a fight with a moon god.
Because if the universe thinks he’s letting Marc go without a fight, it’s got another thing coming.

Realizing how crazy he looked, the knight shakes his head in dismission. “Nothing. Just thought I heard something.”
“Tends to happen a lot with all the voices I hear in my head.” The knight continues, soon letting out a dry laugh.
That admission gets a gasped response from the spider, soon exclaiming an abbreviated, “O-M-G!” — dialect the spider must have gotten from being born and raised in Queens. “You have those, too?”

A puppet in the shape of a knight, kept in Khonshu's display case, befriends the spider who snuck in and planted some meticulous webs.

What was more troubling was the sudden appearance of Khonshu, staring up into the sky and glowing bright enough to momentarily blind him. "Do you see it, my son?" There was amusement in that voice, amusement and interest. "A new power has been born."
Marc looked at the sky and balked at the appearance of a second moon. He had only three words to say about this sudden development- "what the fuck?"
