Summary
This was his routine. Schoolwork and vigilantism, trying to find the time to be a normal kid somewhere in between the two. Lying to his loved ones for their safety, and feeling terrible about it every time. The past year hadn’t been easy, but the one thing Itadori knew was that having Fushiguro by his side always made it easier to shoulder the weight. Even if he couldn’t tell him everything, Itadori felt relieved everytime Fushiguro gave him the support he so desperately craved. His best friend’s help was honestly what got him through the day. That was a normal feeling to have about your best friend… Right?
Or, the one where Itadori Yuji becomes Spider-man and everything feels like its constantly falling to pieces but Fushiguro Megumi seems to make it a little easier to handle.

When he finally turns his head, he sees a light dusting of snow on the windowsill. Tsumiki prefers springtime, but she likes the snow, too. Gojo tries to carve out at least one day every winter amidst their cluttered schedule to bring the kids up to one of the ski resorts in the north of the country.
I should tell Tsumiki to ask if Gojo can take a day off soon,Megumi thinks. Maybe we can go on my birthday this year. It’s almost December, isn’t it? And then he thinks, Oh.

It does bother Megumi. He can't handle the awkwardness of being next to Sukuna's kid, in his apartment, eating instant ramen next to a poster of a half-naked woman posing suggestively, like they're the best of friends who have just gotten stoned and now craved whatever food was available.
"Ah, right. What's your type?"
Megumi raises a brow, glances at his empty cup of ramen, then back at Yuuji.
"I prefer it with a little ginger, but…" He pauses. "...You're not asking about my favorite type of instant ramen, are you?"
The corners of Yuuji's lips quiver as he holds back from laughing.
"I mean, if you're interested in noodles, that's okay too. Love who you love, I'm not judging."

Megumi wandered around the Ryoumen exhibit, the works were beautiful. Simplistic beauty, where every stroke held its purpose.
A head of cherry coloured hair popped into his view, the boy donning a charming orange kimono with a vibrant yellow haori making him look like he stepped out from the sun. He looked more than out of place in a art exhibit where almost everyone else was in modern clothing.
The boy turned to face him, their seafoam and honey eyes lock. His heart fluttered slightly, the boy looked... cute.
"Hello! I'm Yuuji, what's your name?"
Maybe they can be friends.

However, until then the world only houses Yuuji and Megumi, and they get to nestle together for a few more minutes until the responsibilities of the day demand them.
