A headache is rapidly forming behind her eyes. She presses a hand to her forehead and looks out the window. Sighs. Still dark.
Still dark, and bringing with it a hundred thousand years of flying and falling. It did not feel so long when she was an immortal creature. Now, the weight of a hundred lifetimes weighs down the corners of her mind like a caught flap of fabric in the wind, the middle catching, the edges pinned. Stuck in two places at the same time.

Zelda always believed that her beloved hero Link was invincible. He defeated the Calamity. He defeated the Demon King. He returned Zelda to her Hylian form after she had undergone a transformation that it was said to be irreversible. There's nothing Link cannot do. There's nothing that can keep Link down for long.
Or, at least, that's what Zelda believed. As she finds out, one doesn't go through all what Link had gone through without earning a few mental scars.
And Zelda realizes that not only Link is not invulnerable, but he's on the verge of shattering completely. What can she do to keep him from finally breaking down?
