Summary
Christine (Pomni) is an overworked office worker who is taken advantage by her fellow coworkers, including her insanely toxic ex boyfriend, Nick. They expect her to do everything around the office, and she can’t help but comply. When a mysterious vandalizer begins leaving graffiti throughout the exterior of the office-building, the responsibly to catch them falls upon poor Christine.
After staying behind her scheduled hours, Christine unexpectedly catches the vandal, she is stunned to find a familiar face, her barista, Felix (Jax).
The pair eventually come up with a plan that will benefit the both of them: Felix will pretend to be Christine’s boyfriend in order to keep Nick away from her. In return, Christine vows to keep Felix’s identity as the wanted vandal a secret.
However, as the pair navigate their fake relationship, they can’t help but wonder… where does pretending stop and reality begin?

Pomni enters the world of The Amazing Digital Circus, thinking it's just a game. Realizing she's trapped, she tells herself it's just a dream. Jax tells himself he doesn't care. Caine tells himself it's only data he's collecting. However, the circus is full of lies, and sooner or later, someone will have to break.
This is my first fic. I don't know where this is all going yet, but it gets messy. Please feel free to let me know your thoughts! Also, the Rape/Non-con elements tag is just to be safe. There are power imbalances and manipulation in this story. I have not planned the whole story; I plan one chapter at a time as I'm writing it.
Side Note: The story begins in third person but will eventually transition to 1st person. There will also be some character redesigns later on. For now, it's Barbie and Ken down there until I'm ready to bring in the eventual smut. I promise we're getting there!
Notice: I'll be taking a short break. I have a lot going on. I shouldn't be away longer than a week or two.

It must have been luck, earlier, and Jax must have used it all up with his stunts. Because the monster fell right into the trap, limbs flailing and flying in all directions in its effort to stop.
Jax arrived just in time to watch its tail lash out, right into Pomni. It knocked her too far down - her arm scraped the rim of the hole, slid off, and then she was falling.
