Summary
Now: When Eliot wakes up, everything is wrong. Quentin is missing, leaving only ominous letters behind, and no one seems to care. He needs to understand what happened while he was gone. Why something in his body is telling him things were worse than they seemed. He has to find Q, at least make sure he's still alive.
Then: The monster is fascinated by Quentin. And Quentin? Well, he loves Eliot and he needs to keep his body alive for him to return... and he is a weak, selfish man. Really, he shouldn't have expected better from himself.

Summary
“I wrote Q a letter, then me and Alice dropped it down a well at the top of the Mountain of Ghosts, yada yada yada,” Eliot says. “But I didn’t think it would *actually* reach him.”
Julia’s eyes go wide. “What did it say?”
He opens his mouth to tell her, but Quentin beats him to the punch.
“To Quentin Coldwater, before he went to the Seam: Come back, asshole.”
“Um. Yeah. That.”
—————————
In which Quentin returns to the land of the living for the very simple reason that Eliot asked him to.

Summary
Eliot's breath caught and he coughed into his elbow. “Ugh. Jesus virus-shedding Christ, I’ll be in my trailer.”
“You don’t have a trailer.”
“Then I’ll make myself a hermetically-sealed magic bubble and live there because, unlike Ethan Hoberman and his atrocious open-mouthed gum-chewing habit, I care enough about public health to want to not infect you.”
Illness takes Eliot down, and Quentin shows him how much he cares.

Summary
Julia shook her head, falling back against the couch, her eyes screwing shut. “I was indestructible. Now I’m dead.”
“You’re not dead,” said a soft, familiar voice. “You’re ascending.”
Julia’s eyes snapped open, her jaw dropping when she saw Our Lady Underground sitting calmly next to her. “You,” Julia said, feeling like her heart had stopped beating. Which, it had, because she was dead. Right?
“You died,” Julia said. “I saw—”
“—what I needed you to see.” Our Lady Underground’s voice was that same patient, calming tone it always was. “I’m sorry. It was necessary.”
“Necessary for what?”Julia asked, glancing at Penny. His eyes were as wide as she imagined hers were, his gaze darting between them. “What do you mean, I’m ascending? How can I be ascending when I’m dead?”
“You’re not dead, Julia,” she said again. “You made your choice. This is your journey. It always has been.”

Quentin was brought back to life by Santa Claus as a Christmas gift for his group of friends. Eliot was brave and gave his heart to the boy who welcomed him with open heart. Summary
Eliot Waugh can't give up on the chance he had with the man he loves. No one really did get proof of concept like that. If Alice could come back from being a niffin, if Penny 23 could hop timelines, if Julia could become a goddess, if every other redemption was possible, then was his own. One way or another he'd find his way back to Q.

Summary
It was the second fic I wrote. I'm trying to make it better written, keeping the whole theme of the story.
Quentin survives the explosion after restoring the mirror and throwing the bottle with the monster. He wakes up alone and realizes he has been abandoned by the people who are supposed to be his friends. How will he react?
I'd love to hear what you think, but take it easy if you don't like it lol. -

"Have you eaten anything yet?" he suddenly asks, changing the conversation on the other end, which serves both to stop Q's diatribe and his own thoughts. "Quentin, dear, I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this, but that doesn't count," [...]

Summary
Quentin steps through the wide open doorway, the Underworld metrocard Penny had given him a solid, insistent weight in his hand. And then—like some great unseen force reaching forward and clicking off a light—Quentin is gone. Blanked out, full-dark, drained of all his everything like a glass with a hole in its side. No tunnel with a brilliant white light at the other end of it. No dead relatives waiting with smiles on their faces and open arms to greet him. There’s just—
There’s nothing.

Summary
“Come back,” Eliot murmured, “please come back to me Q,”
But Quentin just remained as motionless as ever. His shoulders and back were bound in bandages, not unlike the one that was wrapped around Eliot’s midsection just a few days ago.
Quentin’s skin was pale and sweet beaded at his brow.
Oh how Eliot wants to lean over and sweep back Quentin’s hair. How he wants to thread his fingers into Q’s delicate strands of hair. How he wants to plant a gentle kiss on Q’s lips.
But that wouldn’t help anything. Quentin most likely didn’t even want him anymore. All because of Eliot’s fearOr
what if Quentin made it to the door and survived?
or
Eliot wakes up to find his beloved Q injured after throwing the Monster in the Seam. But casting in the mirror realm is unpredictable and leaves some unwanted consequences that they have to stop

Summary
“Do you really want to put yourself through hell, just on the off-chance your friend makes the choice to follow you back?”
And the thing is, Eliot's pulled back so many times. Back from the opportunity, the chance at something more, something bigger, something good. Pulled back so many times because he’d been so afraid. But he’s been living in a world without Quentin for five days. Five days, which is ten, a hundred times more time than he needed to figure out that all the fear he’d felt his entire life was nothing compared to this. He would walk through hell and back on a thousand to one odds, a million to one, if it meant there was the faintest, vaguest, slightest sliver of a chance that Q would be waiting for him at the other end.
“Yes,” he says.
Or: Quentin Coldwater is dead. And Eliot Waugh isn't having it. Enter The Dante Clause.
