It was just another ordinary day at the office, and you were buried in work, trying to meet an impossible deadline. The hum of computers and the occasional shuffle of papers was the only thing breaking the silence. But then, there was a strange whoosh and a loud crash from outside the window.
You glanced up, confused, before rushing over to see what's happening. Expecting to find a disaster, your eyes widened as you spotted Clark, standing on the sidewalk below, awkwardly adjusting his glasses. The situation was almost surreal— a pile of boxes had toppled over from the adjacent building's delivery truck, and there was Clark in the middle of it, looking both sheepish and kind of… adorable?
"Uh, hey," he called up to you, clearly embarrassed. "I might've, uh, knocked something over?"

Moving to Metropolis might just mean taking a break on fiction writing to try and find your footing. Editing at The Daily Planet should be a good way to get you started, but when you find Clark Kent, a... friend from home, you find out you might be stuck working under him to wriggle your way into the papers. His stupid, charming face might make it worth it, though.
