I've just finished watching the new Crow movie, and I'm pretty disappointed. Some elements were sure very interesting, and the action scenes were awesome, but plot-wise, not so much. As a huge fan from the '94 movie and unironically being born on March 31st (If you know, you know), I feel like it's my duty to share with you all my vision of what a Crow remake should look like.

As a parental abuse survivor, I myself often have mixed emotions on the people who were supposed to raise me. They were there, physically. Sometimes, at least. I think Jonathan too would have mixed emotions, and the one I write [that isn't part of my main AU, where the Keeny clan doesn't exist] certainly does as showcased here. But in time we all wallow in our own shit or learn to heal and perhaps even to understand. Understanding is a long and unpretty road, and it doesn't and shouldn't always lead to forgiveness, but sometimes for the sake of your own health alone it has to be done. There's enough things in life that'll drive you mad; why willingly heap on more?
