Like Shouto, he appears to have been late to class—his freckled cheeks are flushed as if he had been running, his dark curls wilder than usual, bursting from his head in disheveled coils of forest green.
Midoriya stares at something above Shouto, eyes wide with horror. Shouto follows his gaze to the wall behind him where, in large red letters dripping in thick globs down the stone walls, a message reads:
The Chamber of Secrets has been opened. Enemies of the heir, beware.
Beside it is a large stone dog, swinging slowly on a thick chain as if pushed by a breeze.
