Summary
I went to bed shortly after my previous entry. Stanley woke several times during the night to use the restroom. He was restless between visits, when normally he sleeps like the dead. His breathing became noticeably more shallow as he tried to calm himself down, but something was preventing him from fully resting. I asked what was wrong and tried my best to comfort him. Consolation is not one of my strong suits, but I had to try for Stanley.
He was clammy, almost feverish when I felt his forehead. Between labored breaths, he muttered words I couldn't quite catch. I finally broke him from his trance, and he told me that he thought he was dying with all the seriousness in the world. At first I surmised it was a fevered delusion and held him close, attempting to shush him back to sleep. Eventually he acquiesced, but the words stuck with me. He seemed genuinely afraid, as though he'd die right next to me in bed. I slept very little that night, mind addled with worry.
OR
Stan begins to exhibit worrying symptoms. Ford refuses to lose his brother a third time.

Summary
Fiddleford McGucket loves his wife. He loves his son. He’s got a truck, a house, a plan, a project— but there is something distinctly... missing. Stanford Pines is finally free. There is nothing tying him down, he has his own home, a grant that keeps him funded, and research that keeps coming— but a lack of human companionship is something even his muse cannot quite provide.
Fidd jumps at the opportunity to assist an old friend when Ford finally calls him after years of nothing but letters. In a Shack away from prying eyes, with the companionship of someone that interacting with comes so easily, it is just as easy to fall back into old habits for better or for worse. As much as Ford adores his old friend, he doesn’t trust he won’t be misconstrued as a madman should the truth come out, and as much as Fiddleford is willing to open his eyes and try new things he can tell there is something very wrong with this idea he is helping Ford accomplish. "Impossible Year" follows the events of Fiddleford’s year with a “visiting researcher” and Ford’s writings of inventing the portal with his assistant, F. From the mundane moments of grocery shopping and pulling gnome hair from machinery, to the portal incident and the aftermath.

Summary
Once, Bill Cipher was a god—feared, worshipped, and free. He drank wine mixed with lilies and slept in temples carved by non-divine hands.
Now, he’s little more than a whisper, bound to a scholar’s shrine, summoned by hands that tremble with mervousness and devotion.
Stanford Pines seeks knowledge, and in Bill he finds it. Their bond is strange, slowly spiraling into something neither of them can—want to—name.
But Bill still remembers what it means to be finite, and he will not stay diminished forever.
After all, even fallen gods still dream of fire—and the mortals who might help them burn bright again.
Or alternately;
"Shimmering Scales" it's getting it's longfic, but before we get to the fiddlestan, we must tackle the evil toxic yaoi Bill and Ford are. -

Summary

One day while waiting anxiously to fall asleep, he stumbled across a stack note pad with a hastily written help message from none other than Bill. Summary
Stan nodded, eyes fixed at the center of the table. Finally, he said “Look, if the kids weren’t so attached to you I wouldn’t say anything, but… do you know the reason they’re here for the summer?”
“I assumed it’s because their parents believed you were me,” Ford replied.
Stan rolled his eyes. “Well, yeah, that’s why they’re with me, but do you know why they’re here and not at home?”
“Oh. No, I guess not.”

Or, late one night, Ford stumbles upon a secret and has a conversation with the last person in the house he wants to speak to.

"You know, I think you're one of the most caring people I know."
Stanley scoffs, taking another swig of whatever beer Fiddleford grabbed off the store's shelves earlier on their weekly grocery run. it burned going down but he drank enough until he could come up with an answer.
"yeah right. I don't care for no nothing."
The inventor watches Stanley intently, a man he's come to know after months of working together, his eyebrows furrowed but with a soft set to his face. "than why are you trying to rebuild the portal?"
~~~~~
What if Stanley found out that another person helped build that portal? What if Stanley went to seek them out but they were nothing like he expected? What if while trying to get his brother back, he gains something else in the process?
What if, while Fiddleford was the middle of a mental spiral, someone was there to help him? What if instead of the constant urge to forget everything, somthing comes into his life which makes him want to keep remembering?
Summary
*On hiatus due to author babying their injured corgi and injuring themselves in the process*
There are very few things in the multiverse that can truly scare Bill Cipher. He’s been around far longer than nearly all the inhabitants of it, and he’s so powerful the mere concept of him as a being would make the more inferior one’s brains implode. So, there’s not much that can put the fear of Axolotl in him.
Today, however, he found one of the exceptions.
Because today, Stanford Filbrick Pines had a brain aneurism rupture.
And Bill isn’t entirely certain he’s ever going to wake up again.
And that fucking terrifies Bill.
