Summary
New Pines wasn't a bad place to live, all things considered.
After all, it was a decently populated area, with a good number of restaurants, shopping centers, and other miscellaneous facilities scattered throughout, making it virtually impossible to get bored. Plus, the residents seemed pretty nice.
Or, due to his uncle getting a better job, Shuichi Saihara finds himself moving to an entirely new town for his senior year of high school. Luckily, some of the worries are alleviated when a friend group decides to adopt him. Shuichi is now thrown into a whole new world of friendship, love, and everything else in between, and he's in for a wild ride, to say the least.

People still remember the first days that these so-called visions appeared, granting people with hydro, pyro, cryo, geo, and electro abilities. At first people were frightened and chaos spread among fear. And consequently in an astounding 2 days the government was able to agree on 2 key laws about vision holders.
1) They must be registered into the government system upon 48 hours of receiving a vision.
2) They must acquire a government mandated license to use these so-called abilities.
And so Hope's Peak a middle school was built to help and improve vision holders hold on to their elemental abilities and help with attaining a license.

Shuichi Saihara is an upstanding kid with a defensive aura, he's well liked and keeps okay grades. He's often well dressed and wears a hat 24/7, his silky blue-ish black hair hidden beneath it.
He has many admirers and is definitely more popular than Kokichi; A kid who keeps to himself. He has good grades because Atua forbid his parents find out he brought home anything less than an A, not that they'd be home to see it.
This is shown in his outward appearance, slightly messy hair, a bandaid or two somewhere on his body, and the traditional 2nd year school uniform as opposed to the 3rd, like Shuichi.Shuichi has a best friend named Rantaro Amami, a self-fulfilled prophecy of sorts. His dad was a tool, beating on his family constantly before being put in prison. Rantaro is overly protective, inquisitive, and very.. Observant?
His light lime green hair is fluffy and well kept, and he wears a 3rd year uniform like his peers. He also has quite a few piercings.Join these three as they battle with their emotions, questioning themselves every step of the way. Will they have a happy ending, Kokichi and Shuichi becoming Star-Crossed Lovers? Or will they truly live up to the name; Crossed in Love.

Summary
If this happened somewhere else, literally anywhere else, he would’ve considered it hilarious. The looks on people’s faces would have him cackling, the absolute absurdity of the situation would automatically make it one of his favorite stunts yet, and the brand new story he’d have to tell DICE would be the highlight of his entire month.
Kokichi knew wishful thinking would get him nowhere. Especially not here, being swallowed by masses of soapsuds, any prospects of pleasantly surprising Shuichi shattering into a million pieces. A million bubbles, if he wanted to be more accurate.
(He really, genuinely didn’t.)
kokichi takes pride in making even the most mundane things interesting. overloading the saiharas’ washing machine, however—not exactly his finest moment.
