Summary
Of all the advantages that being the child of a god gave him, the ability to easily book flights was not one.
The rest of his family were easy enough - Phil had his raven, Chat, Wilbur had his Capuchin monkey, Friend, and Clementine hadn't yet settled and so could stay in a small form.
Techno, on the other hand, had a bloody polar bear to board, and had to pay a ridiculous amount of money for a specialized storage area on a plane which could account for the weight of a polar bear. Thankfully, there weren't many extra-large Daemons traveling ordinarily, but he still needed to book his flights months in advance to guarantee getting the space.
At the very least, by the time they were off the plane and back at Camp Half-Blood, Steve would have plenty of room to spare in the spacious fields and forests, an entire summer spent in freedom and safety and without the threat of being jumped by a gorgon on the way to school.
Yes, that had happened three times this year already.

Summary
Charlie's well aware she can come off as… abrasive, sometimes. Her enthusiasm isn't easy for most denizens of Hell to swallow. She’s worked to tone it down as the hotel’s grand reopening creeps closer, giving residents more space and swapping the flashy events for more casual gatherings. Charlie wants her new (and old!) friends to feel as comfortable as possible, after all!
But there’s one issue that’s not as easily solved. And unluckily, Charlie’s pretty sure it’s her most abrasive feature of all. But she’s not so sure this is a part of herself she can tone down. Or really wants to, for that matter.
Maybe there’s a way to compromise.

Because of the similarities it shares with another case dear to Neuvillette and his daemon’s heart, they call on the only reliable people they can think of to join the investigation: Wriothesley and his unnamed daemon.
It’s a story of history repeating itself (but also not), of Wriothesley and his daemon getting closure, and monsters in the shape of humans getting their comeuppance.
