Izuku learned that he couldn’t be loved because his parents abused him and sold him the first chance they got, and heroes that could have saved him turned a blind eye to the obvious abuse. Even after all he went through, he still had a flicker of hope to someday be a hero, so he gunned it to the exit when the alarm went off.
Noeru went missing after a villain's attack, there wasn’t a trace of her anywhere. Her family still had a small flicker of hope even after the police told them she was presumed dead.

Izuku and Hitoshi Aizawa are the twin sons of Shouta and Hizashi. The two originally started in Gen-ED at another hero school before getting into the Hero Course during their first year after the sports day festival. They had planned to go to UA, but they wasn't accepted into the Hero Course and refused a recommendation from their dads. Fast forward to Third year the two are finally able to move back home and go to UA after two spots become available. Now, Aizawa has two deal with 20 kids two of which are his chaotic twin sons who seem to have caught the attention of two obnoxiously loud blondes.
