Despite their violent nature, Sonic starts developing a bond with the sea creatures, particularly Nine, the one who looks like the brother Sonic lost. Even stranger than that, he's also forging relationships with the workers at the university and the people connected to them.
But the truth of who he is will come out eventually, and the fallout might be impossible to handle if he doesn't figure out Clutch wants in all of this.
Or, Sonic teaches merfolk how to belong while also learning this lesson and how to healthily deal with his own grief

From a plant-turned-robot out to conquest the galaxy to a being deciding to consume time itself for revenge, it is safe to say this trio will have their hands full.Basically the Doctor falls into Sonic's universe.
Kind of a hodgepodge of all Sonic media molded into one.
