Things were getting rougher.
Things had really changed for Steve since he graduated from college and started his own detective agency "Blue Prints Detective Agency". The mysteries he had to solve were getting more complicated.
Sometimes three clues wasn't enough, sometimes he would need four clues and on a very rough day, five. But despite it all Steve loved what he did and there was no going back. He was all too aware of what 《who》 he had given up in order to follow his dreams. And Steve had come to acceptance of his situation as best a he could and that was that.
Well, that was until one morning when there was a persistent knock on his door. So persistent that he didn't have time to change out of his favorite green striped pajamas. He picked up his glasses, put on his baseball cap, and rushed down the stairs and opened the door.
"Yes?!" He questioned as he opened the door but was baffled as he looked around and saw no one on his doorstep! But he heard a ticking sound coming from the ground (relax, it's not Tickety). There sat a silver pocket watch, oddly enough with a paw print on it except something was very off.
The paw print was gray.

After graduating high school, Steve and his brother Joe are given the news that they have inherited a house from their mom and dad. Upon being given the deed to the house, the brothers realize their parents seemingly forgot to disclose its location. The only clues given are "Big Hill" along with "the yellow house with a red roof" with the backyard having a "large apple tree with a tire swing". During a family reunion, Steve and Joe meet up with their grandmother who hands them a box with a blue pawprint on it. The boys open the box to discover a mysterious blue puppy who will be accompanying them on their adventure.
