Now, though… Silver knew, as he felt the missing piece in his life click into place, that he would do just about anything to keep Ethan smiling like this, as unapologetically happy as he always was.
Or: what was supposed to be a private picnic date with Ethan to welcome the spring blossom together was, instead, crashed by Lyra and Kris. Silver has to withstand Lyra's well-meaning teasing about their new status as a couple and, in return, got the sweetest reward for his persistence.
